frequently asked questions

How much do your services cost?

You’ll know every detail in advance! Everyone has similar labor, material, and G&A costs. What differentiates Regenerate from the rest is the level of detail we put into our shared spreadsheets regarding your expenses, both estimated and actual. Projects can be quite large, so cost-efficiency is farming 101. If you want to do the same thing, inexpensively, let’s use more affordable materials, DIY, or smaller plants. This will be an open conversation, not another opportunity to charge you extra.

We prefer to call it “land management” as we always consider the agricultural and ecological purpose behind any infrastructure you ask us to help manage. We do manage property, including fences, roads, greenhouses, and buildings. And we can also oversee your new or existing teams like landscapers and contractors to ensure your property runs smoothly and aligns with your goals.

Our whole-systems approach includes long-term maintenance scheduling to ensure that soil health, water management, and ecosystem development work together for long-term success. Agriculture is critical timing work, so we guide you and plan appropriate work for each season.

No, our services are flexible. Based on your needs and resources, we can phase your project, focusing on priority areas first and expanding over time. Clearly, some plant and management activities have a much greater effect when done in sequence or parallel, and we will take the time to articulate this in our designs and discussions.

Our soil health services include cover cropping, compost and compost tea application and bio-fertilizers, as well as techniques like keyline design and regenerative livestock management to enhance the soil food web and boost land vitality.

“The nation that destroys its soil destroys itself.” – Franklin Roosevelt.

Pasture species diversification and water management amplifies your range’s health, and we offer hay baling services to optimize forage quality while maintaining soil integrity.

We combine agroecology with technical expertise to create detailed farm designs and drawings. You can stop there, or we can offer consultations to outline costs and timelines, and you can begin installing and managing the project on a seasonal schedule.

Water management is integral to our services. We use techniques like Keyline Design, swales, ditches, ponding, and eco-retention berms. We design efficient irrigation systems and ensure reliable water accessibility for crops and livestock.

At Regenerate, we create resilient landscapes that work with the local bioregion by integrating diverse native perennials and fostering habitats for pollinators and beneficial insects, augmenting your crop pollination along with biodiversity and soil health.

If you have a goal of growing food, we design food and herbal medicine cropping systems that include gardens, row crops, tree crops, and polyculture setups optimized for yield and soil restoration.
